An age of nerding out!
A big moment…
I was in Home checking out TV when, out of nowhere, a guy popped up with a glass ball and a tree made in some 3D software called 3dstudio on DOS—and everything flipped! I fell head over heels for computer animation, even though the mystery guy never mentioned the app’s name (or maybe I just missed it :((( ). I started hunting around for animation software, and one of my dad’s colleagues swore by PowerPoint! I grabbed it, but boy, was I let down… That is, until one day, a buddy’s brother introduced me to a real 3D app. He whipped up a sphere, a teapot, and some wild touros, hit the animate key, and watched the magic unfold—I was totally blown away!

Now, here’s where DreamNerd truly takes over:
I’m Mojtaba Oriuee, but around here, I’m known as DreamNerd—and I’ve been messing with digital magic since 2000. In 2008, I stumbled into the world of MaxScript, and it was like discovering a secret superpower that turned crazy creative challenges into pure fun. Fast forward to today: I’m deep into Houdini’s procedural wizardry and the visual charm of VOPs, crafting environmental art that’s a wild blend of tech savvy and natural wonder.
The real secret sauce in my work? My very own GrowInfinite system—a custom toolkit I’ve been tinkering with since 2018. With it, I generate digital realms that capture nature’s most elusive, jaw-dropping qualities. Imagine the crystalline complexity of bismuth, the fluid dance of jellyfish, and trees that seem to grow right before your eyes. It’s all about turning lines of code into organic, living beauty—a hidden math that sings nature’s poetry.
But wait, there’s more! I’m not just about digital doodles. I’m flipping the script on how art meets marketing. While most folks are busy grabbing attention with flashy ads, I’m on a mission to earn genuine respect through art that speaks for itself. By licensing my creations for public displays, I’m transforming everyday urban spaces into immersive experiences that make you stop, look, and feel. It’s not just about catching your eye—it’s about capturing your imagination.
My work has been featured in several Houdini reels, including the 2019 Worldbuilding reel, the Karma XPU highlights reel, and the Houdini 19 sneak peek. In September 2021, I was interviewed by 3D World magazine about my work and creative journey. All of this has only fueled my determination to push my limits even further—challenging myself to craft more daring, intricate artworks alongside the simple, minimal pieces I also love.
Step into the DreamNerd-verse—a realm where algorithmic creativity collides with wild natural inspiration. Here, impossible worlds challenge everything you think you know about art, technology, and the secret systems that shape the beauty all around us.
